Texas student builds landscaping business to fund college, wins national agribusiness award

Texas student Jose Yepez started a landscaping business to pay for college, but it soon grew into a company serving more than 100 clients and employing four full-time workers. The business has also helped him support his family financially. His efforts earned him the 2026 American Star in Agribusiness award from the National FFA Organization on Friday.
