Texas court upholds refinery's gross negligence in worker's death, cuts award by $125,000

A Texas appeals court upheld a refinery company's gross negligence in a worker's asbestos-related death but reduced his family's damages award from $325,000 to $200,000. It also revived negligence claims that had earlier been dismissed, allowing the family to pursue them in further proceedings.
