DENVER - December 15, 2020 - (Newswire.com)
Campus.app, a contemporary mobile and web-based portal platform, today announced a new partnership with Agnes Scott College in Decatur, GA.
Since 1889, Agnes Scott College has enabled students to reach their potential through an innovative liberal arts education. Agnes Scott College has been ranked #1 Most Innovative School in the country for the third consecutive year by U.S. News & World Report. Due to their rigorous core curriculum emphasizing global learning, leadership development, professional success, and digital literacy, every student is ensured a solid foundation.
“We admire the fact that Agnes Scott College has continued to think ‘outside of the box,’ consistently remaining at the innovative edge of higher education. Adding a digital campus through Campus.app is just one more way for this institution to rise above the expected norm,” said Chase Williams, Campus CEO. “Allowing students to connect with one another and communicate with faculty--on-demand and across devices--is just one more way Agnes Scott College demonstrates its student-centric mentality.”
Campus.app is a modern, cloud-hosted portal that connects people, platforms, and processes. The application serves as a dynamic, one-stop-shop on any device. Campus.app offers an integrated digital community that increases engagement and improves the overall student experience.
"Agnes Scott College is deeply committed to the education and safety of our students,” said LaNeta Counts, Agnes Scott’s associate vice president for technology. “COVID-19 has presented many challenges, which we’ve worked to meet. In the interest of student and faculty safety, we transitioned to a remote campus for most of 2020 with plans to partially open in Spring 2021. We know students will find Campus.app a natural means to connect, given their propensity for mobile-based technology. Beyond these unprecedented times, we envision Campus.app delivering value to our students, particularly around offering a single place to access their integration needs.”
The Campus.app team is thrilled to have the opportunity to assist Agnes Scott College in amplifying critical communications, connecting people to reinforce a sense of community, and facilitating business continuity throughout the current climate and beyond.
