Washington, DC. - (December 7th, 2017) - The countdown is on to the New Year and those who prefer to partake in a unique celebration can do so with ease through one of 360 Nightlife’s themed New Year's Eve events. Each signature party offers a twist to separate it from an ordinary NYE gathering.

The Annual Masquerade Ball at MXDC, 600 14th St NW, Washington, DC, offers guests complimentary masquerade masks to promote a sense of mystery and intrigue. Miami’s own DJ Q provides the soundtrack for the night while guests can take advantage of 2 floors and 2 bars.

Open last year, Ten Tigers Parlour, 3813 Georgia Ave NW, Washington, DC, will play host to the 90’s New Year’s Eve themed party. DJ Mark-Z will spin an eclectic musical set made up solely of songs from the 1990's, while guests will groove between 2 floors and 4 rooms.

Not to be undone, Satellite Room, 2047 9th St NW, Washington, DC, will be the venue for the Roaring 20’s NYE Bash. This party will transport guests to the decadence of the 1920’s with special decor and themed party favors. Guests are also encouraged to wear Great Gatsby inspired outfits.

Last but not least, Southern Hospitality, 1815 Adams Mill Rd NW, Washington, DC, will take a cue from its name and play host to an NYE celebration that celebrates southern charm. Mason jars and wooden decor will provide southern touches while the heated and tented outdoor patio will be decorated with string lights reminiscent of a southern backyard.

“We pride ourselves on producing NYE events that go beyond the ordinary,” said Raj Vasa, CEO of 360 Nightlife. “Plus, with a reputation built on offering some of the best New Year’s Eve events in Washington DC, it seems only appropriate to offer multiple choices that could satisfy any group of potential attendees.”

Each event offers a one-hour open bar with appetizers, champagne toast at midnight, and complimentary party favors. In addition, the Times Square ball drop will be televised live at all venues.

Ticket prices range between $35 - $70 with higher prices closer to the date. Limited tables are available on a first reserve basis. For those who are ready to learn more about these events, they can visit http://www.360nightlife.com/new-years-eve-washington-dc or Click Here.

States could face severe flooding, other problems in Midwest

Feb 21, 2018

CHICAGO — Several states could see severe flooding and other weather-related problems amid a storm system that has brought rain, ice and snow to the Midwest and Great Plains. The weather already was blamed for several fatalities, including the deaths of four people in a crash in Nebraska. Melting snow and heavy rain prompted the National Weather Service to issue flood warnings for parts of northern Illinois and flood watches for central Illinois. The fear of a rising Illinois River forced the evacuation late Tuesday of the LaSalle County Nursing Home in Ottawa. In the Chicago area, as much as...

Vonn 3rd in last Olympic DH; her pal Goggia of Italy wins

Feb 21, 2018

JEONGSEON, South Korea — Lindsey Vonn knew that the bronze medal she earned Wednesday came in her final Olympic downhill, the signature event of her singular career. She knew that, but she didn't have an easy time processing it. That's why the words "probably" and "most likely" kept slipping into her sentences. Why she marked the occasion by posing with dozens of folks for a group photo near the finish line. Why she engaged in a series of warm, lengthy hugs — with her sisters; with U.S. coaches; with the winner, her good friend Sofia Goggia of Italy; with the...

Trump Jr: 'Nonsense' that family's profiting from presidency

Feb 21, 2018

NEW DELHI — Donald Trump Jr. says any talk that his family is profiting from his father's presidency is "nonsense" as he kicked off a highly publicized visit to India to promote real estate deals that bear his family's name. The eldest son of President Donald Trump arrived in India on Tuesday to meet the promoters and buyers of Trump brand luxury homes in the country, raising concerns that using the name of the American president to promote business ventures internationally is tricky ethical territory. But Trump Jr. told an Indian television channel that his family was actually missing out...

Florida shooting survivors in capital, demand action on guns

Feb 21, 2018

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Students who survived the Florida school shooting prepared to flood the Capitol Wednesday pushing to ban the assault-style rifle used to kill 17 people, vowing to make changes in the November election if they can't persuade lawmakers to change laws before their legislative session ends. About 100 Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School students arrived at a Tallahassee high school to extended applause late Tuesday after a 400-mile (640-kilometer) trip on three buses. They told the 500 students and parents waiting for them that they are fighting to protect all students. "We're what's making the change. We're going...

Storm blocks road, causes other disruptions in New Zealand

Feb 21, 2018

WELLINGTON, New Zealand — Mudslides blocked the only road to a small New Zealand town Wednesday after a powerful Pacific storm caused disruptions across parts of the country. The 1,000 tourists and 5,000 locals in Takaka are not entirely trapped, but would have to use a boat, helicopter or small plane to leave town now or wait a week or more before the road is cleared and repaired. The storm that hit late Tuesday was the remnants of Cyclone Gita, which last week ripped through the Pacific nation of Tonga, destroying homes, churches and the historic Parliament House. The winds...
